Luke 2: 6-14

6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the Angel of the Lord said to them, Fear not: For, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the City of David, A Saviour which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

As the holiday draws closer, I am reminded this year of all the blessings that have come way. Its hard to count, but there a few off the top of my head. I have great friends who have stuck by me through the thick and thin of things. I got my raise at work, and things are slowly getting better. I officially made through the one year of my brothers death. Its hard, but I'm trusting God, and I put in his hands so it won't be so hard on me. I got to experience my first trip to Disney World and enjoyed the magic with great a friend and my boyfriend.
The time of Christmas always has meant more to me than just gifts, family, friends and snow. Christmas is a time to remember the ultimate gift, A child born in a manger to save the world of their sins.If I can say one thing, that is the best gift ever. I got to experience this year something I never have before. I saw how some people get hardly anything for the holidays, but because of great charities they can get things to share with their families. I felt truly blessed with what I have. It brought tears to my eyes. Christmas is so much more than then holiday specials and the commercialism that has become this holiday.

Thanks to everyone who has stood by me no matter what. I love you all. Sofia, Sana, Rae, Nicole I am blessed and give thanks everyday I have you guys. You guys are amazing. I love you and always will. Thank you. I have so much more I'd like to say.

As you enjoy this holiday with your family & friends, never forget that child born in Bethlehem. Its the greatest gift ever. I hope it brings peace and joy to you year round.
